This auction is for a lot of 40 water hyacinth that will help filter and purify the water in your water garden or pond by removing excess nutrients from the water-- greatly improving water quality and appearance.Great for fish offspring and nesting.
Water hyacinth feature shiny, leathery green leaves.These plants will quickly multiply all summer. Plants will bloom in late summer and early fall.
The plants float on the water's surface (often called pond floaters) and are ballasted by large masses of black and purple roots. These roots are what make this species such a valuable asset in the cleaning of water. Everything from Koi pond water to municipal run-off benefits from being filtered by this worthy plant. It produces beautiful flowers, filters water like no other plant, makes an excellent spawning medium for goldfish & Koi, and makes great compost. | |
