Up for bid is this 1930 Flower Guide Wild Flowers East of the Rockies by CHESTER A. REED, B.S.. This pocket book contains 320 flowers in colour, painted by the author.
Each specimen serves to identify each flower as it would look like in the field. The author also gives the life cycle of a plant from seed to seed.
There are 228 pages in the book. On page 209 is a key to flowers by color and the smallest flowers are placed first in each section.
This flower guide was copyrighted,1907 Chas. K. Reed, Worcester, Mass. and was revised by Chester A. Reed and printed in Garden City, New York by Doubleday, Doran & Company, Inc. 1930. The guide comes with it's original box and is bound in flexible paper-lined cloth.
